The Story of How We Met
Liz and Dustin were both in their respective dorms when the lights went out. A hurricane-induced blackout had hit UMBC, leaving the entire campus in the dark. Popping her head out into the hall, Liz was invited by a hall-mate, Tara, to go an event they hoped was still going on, but first they had to swing by the courtyard of another dorm to pick up her friend. Dustin headed down to that same courtyard to meet up with a friend of his where there was a s’mores social going on. As an acquaintance of Tara’s, Dustin came over to say hi and it was kismet- they hit it off immediately. Dustin and Liz both decided to abandon their other plans that night in lieu of spending more time together and became inseparable from that point on. Commemorating the night they met, they made a habit of celebrating Thursday nights which Dustin dubbed Thoroughly Sleep Deprived Thursdays. As neither of them had Friday classes, they would stay up late making things, reading plays, and even talking on a bench one night until the sun came up. Liz and Dustin have been blissfully happy and in love ever since and are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together.

- 8/18/2014 Liz and Dustin get engaged and decide to never be apart again!
- 9/5/2014 Embark on cross-country road trip & move to Seattle
- 9/27/2014 Move in to our first apartment
- 4/5/2015 Adopted our kitten, Ollivander
- 9/30/2017 The Big Day!
It's finally here! We will be getting married on Saturday, September 30th, 2017. The ceremony and reception will be held at the Cloisters Castle in Lutherville, MD.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:15 so please plan to arrive by 4:00 pm. A cocktail hour and reception are to follow. Attire will be semi-formal.
So that you can party with us conveniently and safely, there will be a shuttle going to and from the venue leaving from Embassy Suites. The other hotel, Courtyard by Marriott, is a short 3 minute walk from there so staying at either should be convenient.

In celebration of their union, Dustin and Liz have decided to combine last names. Taking the ‘T’ from Turner and the end of Doloff, their new last name will be Toff.
